§ 2-81. Delivery of books, papers, tools to successor in office.

Every officer or agent of the city, on going out of office, shall deliver over to his successor, or to the mayor, all books, papers, accounts, tools, instruments, and everything pertaining to his office, and shall be entitled to a receipt therefor, if required.
