§ 5. Qualification by Member.

Every person appointed a member of the civil service board shall within fifteen days after his appointment qualify by making written oath that he is eligible for said office and that he will faithfully perform the duties of the same. Such oath shall be administered by any person authorized to administer oaths, including any member of the city governing body, and a copy thereof shall be filed with the city clerk.
