§ 16. Penalties.

  • The violation by any employee of any provision in this act or of any of the rules or regulations issued by the board in pursuance thereof, shall constitute an offense for which charges may be preferred against such employee as hereinabove provided, and if such charges are sustained by the board after a notice and hearing as provided, such employee may be discharged or otherwise disciplined. The board or any member thereof may institute charges against an employee for the violation of any of the provisions of this act or any of the rules or regulations issued in pursuance hereof.
